Week in review - Social media, mobi's and wine Back
A nice and controlled week. Production-wise the guys (and girls) moved mountains in getting work out. Creativity was good, but turn-around was the key.
Feedback on the office upgrade.... no time for that this week. Maybe later this month.
Client side:
Welcome to some of our new clients:
- Stumke Short Term Insurance - Making the plunge into web marketing.
- HotelSpec - An international Hotel consultancy firm chose BoonBase to update their overall marketing brand.
Chris put most of his focus on developing a new mobi site for Engineering Dynamics. ED is slowly saturating the online arena in their industry through their website marketing efforts, PPC campaigns, SEO actions and now also social media. The rest of the week Chris and Pieter spent creating their FaceBook pages and integrating it tightly with the website. The result: any changes on certain pages of the website is immediately mirrored in FaceBook. Some nice designing on the Twitter pages rounded of the online branding for now. Well done guys! ^CS
Rochelle did enough email signatures and business cards to last a lifetime. We lost count, but for 6 different companies we believe she created close to 50! She also deep-etched enough wine bottles yesterday to make your head spin. This lady knows her stuff! ^CS
Pieter felt some pressure this week ;-) He was involved in no less than 6 jobs at any stage of the day. Content updates, Google Analytics, Google Maps, email support, email setups, project management and some web development. Growing in experience everyday. ^CS
Apart from his studies and exams (Phycology of all things, WTF? ^CS), Andre is in the process of design a stunning new CI for a concierge service in Johannesburg. Most of his time was divided between a medical aid's magazine layout, the new CI, a contraceptive's collateral material and a government department's brand manual.
MJ got some balls this week ;-) He had fun designing 3 soccer balls and then had to complete 4 branded cricket balls that will be produced in Pakistan. Think he hit those designs out of the park ^CS
In the shade:
- Andre studied and wrote phycology exams - good luck, from the rest of the team
- Pieter is surrounded by Herbalife products - yeah, what's up with that?
- and Chris loves his dentist this morning!
Ended of the week with a delicious breakfast at Travel Bugs. See more here.
